Default lt250r crank cases

i have rebuilt my 87 lt250r and when i put the crank cases back toget it leaked like crazy. i used liquid gasket maker to put the cases back together. i jus recently stopped at the parts store and baught suzuki silicon gasket maker the guy said it would work perfect. can anyone explain the EXACT steps of how to use this product as i do not want to tear my engin apart again and if u are wondering yes oil is leaking into the crank case.

Ya you want a semi drying silicon gasket. some older hondas used center case gaskets for the bottom end. for any engine that doesnt have a case gasket and needs a liquid one, use something like threebond. I use the 1211, works great. Ive put together a zx7, yfz450, rm250, my 1.8t, and my nissan 240 engine together and im still on the same tube. its expensive but worth it and can handle the 2 stroke vibration.
