The only thing I ever had a velocity stack on was an EVO 2X powerboard (scooter). With that I was able to use an ADA Racing air filter with better airflow. And I added a power pipe exhaust and was able to boost a 50cc engine with 4.something HP up to 6 HP. In my case it was a big gain in a small engine, but I don't think you can get a big gain like that on a bigger engine.
