I understand your curiosity...I'll be in GLAMIS on the 31st of October . We camp across the street from "GLAMIS BEACH" store. In the area by Clean Gene's. I'll have a couple on hand and you'll see a few bikes with them installed . till then

I think your in a little deep with the stock swing arm =D but who knows? my neighbor has a 86' pro-x 310 fully drag ported and it pulls the front wheels up in 6th gear, Thats with a 6+ over swingarm, he wanted to put it on alky but couldnt get his carb to fit properly, so he threw his 250 jug back on with alky.. cool head, fully drag port. It was ported by Craig Michaels(i think thats how u spell it) and he can keep up keep up or beat a 430 banshee at florence. Now he needs to to extend his swingarm to 10" so he can launch without pulling a wheelie straight up and down

HA2, my trx has an 85 ATC engine with a 310 kit, works like a dream.

Dragracer, the reason not to get a 330 kit for $50 more is that you need a long rod engine found in the 87 - 89 engines. If you did have a long rod engine and you wanted the 330, you would have to have the cases bored which is extra money or you could use one of ESR bolt-on 330 kits using a spacer plate but you would have only one overbore (not a good idea).

no drag port guys, it'll be CT's top end orientated port which i hear is fairly mild.

I have the ESR 330 kit on my ice race/dune trike and it really works well. I haven't had the chance to hit Silver Lake this summer and put the long arm on it but I can tell you it KILLED my buddies FTZ ported 250 out on the ice. BTW our bikes are identical except for the cylinder and I have a 40.5 PWK to his 39 PWk but gearing, pipe, tires, ignition, reed cage are all the same. I may bring it out next time I go to PA to hit some of the dirt roads we ride so I can see what it does. I say go for the ESR 330 kit.

If you got the time and money, you can the ATC that honda was thinking about selling. Honda 500R ATC, you can get the engine out of a dirt bike i believe, and it's 2 stroke!
