honda 200s

Have a honda 200s that likes to jerk my arm off while trying to pull the starter cord. I think it is because of high compression. I noticed the other day that the decompression cable is missing. where does this cable hook up?
Hey do they make a kick start for this trike?

Is the cable still hooked up to the recoil ? or is it still hooked to the top of the motor ? mine was broke when i got it i just pulled recoil unit off and had a shop put new rope in and they hooked it back up inside the recoil unit for $20

You dont need the decompression cable. When is is really hard to pull, just put it in 1st gear and roll it forwards then try it.

Well I plan to look over my trike again this weekend.....have been to busy this past week to spend any time on it.
I cannot remember if the decompression cable is still on the trike or not........I will look again this week-end. and if it is I will try to put it back on......I tried looking at an old honda book to see if it would help but only saw one picture of this and not much on explaining the part or where all it hooked up.
I guess I am looking for a cable that hooks up to some where on the recaoil starter and runs over to the upper right side of the bike............i
Anyone know if I can put a thinner tire on the front insted of the 22x11x8?????

I have asked around about the smaller wheel too. from what I have heard you can use the front wheel from a honda odyssey(sp?) and it will clear the brake drum. I quit riding mine so I never tried this to find out.

oh BTW i run a 10.5:1 piston in 1 of mine W/O the decompression cable. the trick is to pull the rope slow till the engine rolls over just past TDC. then let the rope go back in. on the second pull. pull it hard. works for me
