I never had the guts to spend much on ebay either. Then I saw a 200m not far away, so I got it for $500. Needed a battery and carb adjustments. Still ran like crap. Then I got a wild hair to check the cam to crank timing. It was off by 3 teeth! Set it, and the big dog runs like a spotted ape. And it was a nice one too. U just never know with ebay.

Yeah you way overpaid, check my gallery, I paid a grand for a liquid cooled. Also that motor does not have honda 300 kit. they just bored the stock cylinder all the way out to accept the 300 piston, so on your next rebuild your probally going to need a whole new topend. a honda big bore kit has 7 headbolts. I'm pretty sure that one has 6. If I'd known you were interested I could of sold you a aircooled for 1200 with a completly rebuilt motor. top to bottom. good luck getting it home.
