there r 87 250r's and 350x's out there somewere i know it

 

86 was the transition year for Honda, they made an atc250R and the trx250R. Everything from 87 had 4 wheels.

 

The Dream of finding an 87 250r is kinda like winning the lottery, we all hope it will happen to us one day but it never does ( at least in my case ). The R died in 1986 along with the 350x, the only trikes to see an 87 production ( into the publics hands ) were the more "utility" oriented machines ( exept for the 200x i belive that it was in the lineup wasnt it?? ). If there is an 87 R out there then i would think that being 17 years old surley at least one would have surfaced up by now.

 

THEY DID MAKE THE 87 BIKES MAINLY IN CANADA, A SMALL FEW IN US, AND ALOT OVER SEAS

THE ATC 250R IS WHITE AND RED WITH BLACK FRAME AND MOTOR BUT HAD THE LATER TRX STILE MOTOR. OTHER THAN THAT THEY WERE THE SAME AS THE 86 ATC 250R.

ATC 250ES (MADE A VERY SMALL FEW)

Damn ill be on the look for those 87 R's and 87 X's hope to find one but mostly doubt it wish i could have one.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

some guy on 3wheeler world had found a 87 R seat he wasnt sure if it was an 87 R seat or the seat cover was just replaced.

YEA the 87 seat looks like this87 R SEAT yea they are different so if your trying to make a clone thats what screws everything up.

OK. Just so everyone is clear. On December 31st 1986 at exactly midnight ALL manufacturers of 3-wheelers HAD to stop prodution on all trikes. There is no such thing as a 1987 trike. There never will be. A big misconception is dealers were allowed to sell their stock after that. That is why everyone thinks they have a 1987 when in fact it is a 1986 model. Run the VIN# or look at the title if you are lucky enough to have one and you will see it plainly says 1987.

 

well you guys need to check out 3wheelerworld.com. a guy on the forums has a REAL 87 ATC350X. there also was 2 REAL 88 big reds found. check the quest for the 87 page and the quest for the 88 page and you will hear the hole story.
