Default questions about my first 200x

I just bought a 200x today for 500 bucks. This is my first ATV. My only other experience is with my Dad's grizzly. The guy I bought it from said it was bored out. What does that mean? Also mine has a blue seat with red plastic all around, a white tank, and blue seat. The sticker behind the headlight says 83 but the guy told me it was an 85 or 86. What year is it because I want to replace the fenders on it?

You go by the sticker on the steering neck. If it was bored out, they may have did a rebuild and honed the cyl. Other 200x plastic should fit. The 200x is a fun trike. If you are new......don't put your foot down while riding!

Well, red plastic [if original] would put it in the '83-'85 range.

The blue seat[if original] would make it an '85.

I wouldn't see why anyone would put an '83 sticker on it if it was an '85

I say you have an '83 with a blue seat cover.

"Bored out" means that the cylinder has been increased in diameter. Doesn't mean much in way of performance if it was just bored to accept the next size up piston.......but if it has a big bore kit[waaaay bigger piston] then you will get a power gain.

That's about as simple as I can type it.
