Default honda 200s won't fire

I have a handa 200s three wheeler and it wont fire. I went through a pond about 3 feet deep. When i got out rode it around for about 10 min. then i went to get something and got off then it died. Then it wouldn't start so i checked the spark plug and it wouldn't fire. so i took the coil off and cleaned it off and wouldn't work.

Considering it ran for 10 minutes after the submersion and then died when idling and hasn't fired since.......I say you have fouled sparkplug.

I would start there...... And by the way, get an NGK and not a Champion or Autolite.
These ATCs hate those plugs and that's not a joke either.

Don't forget to change your engine oil.

Ok I'm confused. Will the engine turn over if you pull the rope? Or can you pull and it wont spin?

Crank to me means that it spins over so if you say it wont crank it wont turn over?

I'm with you Chris142...LOL

pondrunner,

There are a lot of guys who can help you out, but not by posting non complete and short sentences which do not explain exactly what your problem is.

Will the rope pull at all?
If so, is it turning the engine over?
If so, is it turning more freely than usual?

Ok so it wont spin over even with both feet on the foot peg and pulling with both arms. Remove the sparkplug and see if it will spin over. If it does, spin it alot to pump the water out the plug hole.
