Default need a decomp lever

hello, 3 wheeler's, i just fixed my 84 200es, but i must have messed up puttin the decompression lever in, because i lost it out on the trail. it rattled its way out, and i cant find it because of all the mud i was riding in. anyway, if i can find one, i can just wire it to the head so that it wont rattle its way out again. its pretty hard to start because of the hi comp piston, or i wouldnt care about the lever.....thanks guys...
other than that, its running awesome, maybe a little rich and it wont idle well, but its fast as hell. i gotta get a truck now so i can go riding more. ----ill post some before and after pics of the my trike as soon as i remember to bring my digital camera in to work...

There is a set bolt on top of the rocker cover that holds the shaft in place.

I've got about a hundred or so rocker covers on the shelf [no kidding] and most still have all the componets in them, including the levers and springs.

If you want one [no charge] just send me a PM with your shipping address. I'll get it out to you.

By the way, If you want one, I need to know if you want the hand operated type lever or the cable operated type. I have several of each.

hey knowsalot, how close should i be in a race with my machine 1984200es(fresh top end, wiseco 11:1) against my buddy's machine...its a 1986 250es, his looks huge compared to mine, has rear suspention, and seems to be a little faster...it looks like its got a bigger carb, and hes welded a 400ex pipe onto it..how would my machine compare to my other freind's 250sx...?

odyssey,

That '84 200ES was no slouch in stock form.

With your mods and if you are still running 25" tires, it should be very close regarding an all out drag race.

If you find yourself a bit behind when all is said and done, a few XR parts should put you in the front.

odyssey,

I edited my post above regarding what holds the decomp lever into the head. I forgot all about the setting bolt until I went out to take one from a rocker over for you.....LOL

I'm going to send the bolt with it since it seems the lack of a bolt or a broken bolt is what caused yours to back out anyway.
