86ATC250r compresion?

Default 86ATC250r compresion?

A budy droped off me one to play with and I think it need a new top end. How much compresion should this thing have. It kicks over real easy to me and I want to do a compresion check.

Its got fire,good fuel and I cleaned the carb real good and it will not run still.

Can someone help me please?

Hey Mike! Long time no chat....LOL

If it's under 150, it's time for a rebuild.

I've seen them as high as 200, but the average that you should be running is between 160-180. Anywhere in this range is considered normal.

Thanks, Going to check it tonight. From kicking it over I doubt it has that much preshure. I can easly kick it siting down.

not good. my 250r is on probably its 4th very hardly ridin season, and even kicking it over sitting down is very discomforting and im not little boy. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
