Default Plastic Repair?/350x headlights

got a few questions...

What has worked best for you guys that have attempted to fix your cracked plastics?
I hate stitched plastics, (i.e. holes and zip ties all over)
I just got this 250R, and the previous owner gave me some extra plastics for it, his
nephew sat on the fender and cracked them (they are NOS honda plastics) he didnt try to fix them
but I think I'll give it a shot. I was thinking of some clear 15 minute epoxy on the backside only?
the plastics that are on it now are cut back to clear the haulers, so they work ok... but I would love to
have the others as backups.

OK now my other question, I got some perfect 350X headlights from a freind of mine, I want to put them on
but I dont have the wiring harness or light bulbs... so Im trying to get creative, I have 2 H-4s mounted in the
lenses right now, and can build the harness I need, but I dont know if the stock stator will run the dual H-4s?
will it be ok? or will I fry something? I will order a high output stator if I have to, but I thought I would see what
you guys had to say about it first. Thanks "HondaHarry"

As for the fender cracks, be sure to drill a 1/8 hole in the end of each crack. This will prevent it from cracking further. For cracks no longer than maybe 4 or 5 inches, heres what I do.......

Take the fenders off and set them on my bench upside down. I take a heatgun and heat the crack just to the point of melting. I take a industrial duty staple gun with long staplesand staple the crack back together. I space the staples about 1/4 apart. When I'm done, I take the heat gun and BARELY fuse the crack bak together to keep it from flexing.

Then turn the fenders up side down and break the staples off with a pair of pliers. The longer staples make it easier to break off without alot of it protruding to cut your hand on...LOL....For the few pieces of staple hanging out, I take a small file and carefully rub it down.

This process takes a while, but is the best method of repairing plastic that holds and looks good at the same time.

As for the lights, I have no clue. I don't think I own anything with headlights. I take them off....LOL
