Default Are these any good?

On the 225 yamaha dr i have, it has brand new 22'' cheng shin jackals on the back are these good tires?I'll pretty much just be using this trike for trail riding.Also there a 22'' knobbie on the front it's new also is this decent or should i get a new front tire?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

While baloon type tires do help in softening the ride, the flat profile knobbies work best for handling. My favorite is the 22" TurfTamers. They will work great with your standard knobby tire up front.

Thanks for the advice i'm not really worried about softening the ride cause the trike has full suspension just curious to how well they hook on in the trails.

well i tried these tires out,they are good in the snow and other than that i only drove on the road..

heck if you did some riding on the road then those tires are better than mine. I should ask if it was pavement? My tires SUCK on the pavement. they are the Ohtsu XA-801.

Hey, theres nothin wrong w/ the orginial tires, heck, if they lasted this long, they did something right [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]....I'm only replacing mine cause the plugs are wearin out.

yes that was on pavement i can only go wide open in 4th gear cause in fifth i'm going to fast to be on pave they would probally do alright but i need to put some more air in them.
