ok i have an adiction i want to buy a atc now what would be the best atc for a guy thats 260 lbs and 6 ft tall it will be for trail riding small hills and dlcking around and how come atc in ca are so much 250r go for 2grand or higher and 350x gose for 1500 or more thats cali for ya thanks for any info

350x sounds right

 

350x would be a good trike.........Or even my 200x will handle a guy your size..........with a good mono-shock and the coil spring preload set pretty high you should be good to go. Have fun man!

 

Just make sure you look at the 350X, make sure its not abused, and look around in your area for parts. Take mine for example, when I bought it, it was decent, but needed new sprokets, chain, breaks, and one calipor rebuilt, and new tires. but I got lucky, the chain , filters and sprokets came free, but Id look into that, eventhough I could race the trike around when I bought it, I'm glad I didnt when I saw the front sprocket. It was missing 2 teeth, and so warped, it looked like fish hooks, and razor sharp!, so just look into them before your buying. a VERY GOOD AND CLEAN will run around 1000, to 1500 bucks, a used, but worth fixin up is under 700?...mine was 500, but thats because the seller didnt know the value of his bike [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I totally agree, 350X would suit you best. The 200X is a little small for anyone 6ft or bigger regardless of weight.

 

I am 6'4" and only about 180 but I love the 200x

 

That may be so but he asked for the best and I would say the 350X size and power wise are much more suited to his needs and I'm sure you would have to admit that you also would be much more comfortable on the 350X as compaired to the smallish and underpowered 200X. I have nothing against the 200X, that was my first love and I have owned 3 over the years.

 

another thing on the 350X, check for leaks of oil, but im sure u would know...just checkin, and check the spark plug, see if its burin oil..I made that mistake

 

I would go with a 350X or a 250 2 stroker.
