I have a YT 125 and the stupid thing wont start. the carb has just been chem dipped and i havent put it back on yet becuase i found a tube connected to it with silicone in the end.could this be the old oil injector tube ( the previouse owner blocked it off) I have heard that these need to be sealed off. Could this be the reason it isnt starting. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

yes you could be correct, and if the tube is not sealed all the way you can get a vacumme leak and that will make it not start

 

Thanks i got it started after i chem dipped the carb and pluged the oil line. but when i was warming it up the throttle stop screw fell out and i could be any where on our farm. I just ordered a new one yesterday it will be here in a week. the od thing was is that the thing started with the throttle stop screw out it just wouldnt idle
