Those are only aleged photos of the seat, there not concrete. The photos of the Big Reds are fairly convincing though. Problem with them is there all overseas somewhere. I know that the argument is just to prove that they exist not where they are though. It is unfortuante but i do belive that Honda killed there own soldiers when the lawsuits started.

jake ,, of course there were a few out there,,, for photo shoots and promotions ,,, but they never made it to the general publics hands,,, as for big reds in 88, well i say they were rebadged 87 sold other places and i believe that could have happened,,,, utility trikes maybe sport trikes no,,,, and now you can buy a genuine honda id tag with any year you want to put on it,,,,

My dad crashed his R pretty good in 86'. He replaced all of the plastics with genuine honda replacements.
I just replaced them again (albeit a few years later, eh?) And I noticed that it said 85', 86', 87' ATC250R on the plastics next to the part number.
Honda really did plan on producing an 87' R.
But didn't.
-My two cents
BTW - I cannot jet my bike for $hit since I added a rad valve... Its a pain in the a$$... Any suggestions?
