Default ATC 200 Idol Problem

Hey everybody, new to this forum. I have an 1985 or 1984 trike. Originally it was a chain driven 1985 200m and then i had swiitched all body parts over to another frame with a shaft drive 200cc engine.. So im not sure on what year it is.. i dont know if you need to know the year or not..but anyways when its cold it will idol fine. When its hot after a fair bit of a ride, when i come to a stop, most of the time it will quit out. It starts back up very easy and i know the idol is up but i was wondering what the problem might be? Any help would be appreciated.

It's quite obviously a carb problem. I would take the carb apart and perhaps rejet it.

good point, plus you may want to adjust your timing chain as well.

No....all you do when you adjust it is you put mor tention on it to take up some of the slop in the timing chain
