Default Starting a trike

It wont start, and I looked at the reeds, they are not in the best of shape, but could this be the reason why it wont start?
I had it going the other day after about 50 kicks, and it ran for exactly 2 seconds. My dad used a timing light to dheck the timing, and it is just great, so I dont know what it could be. And if its the reeds, what are th best reeds to get for preformance?
Thanks guys, Ryan

Hey ryan....yes it could be the reeds......and as for the proformance what are you looking for? Top speed, more torque, or what? It makes a difference on the reeds you get.

Check the compression and spark. Make sure you have enough of both.
