Default Plug Fouling 200es

Anyone else having trouble with plugs my machine eats them both NGK and Champions.I've replaced rings and valve stem seals as well lapped(grinded)valves new head and base gasket.I'm pretty sure its do to too rich fuel mixture but I've set pilot idle screw 1.5 turns which is leaner than the book calls for and I've tried the needle on the first groove which should be leaner for midrange(book calls for 2nd groove)and I've cleaned air filter and checked choke is not partly closing as well as set correct float height.I'm thinking now that the needle and main jet are worn or damaged previous to me owning the machine can you buy a kit to rebuild these carbs?

What do you mean by eating plugs? Are they fouled out, to the point they dont spark? Are they black? sooty, or carbon build up? Or is there physical damage from something hitting it?
Are you burning oil? Hows the compression? Have you tried a hotter plug, if they are fowling out?

just replaced my needle set because of the same problem. i also tried everything, and kept fouling them out....go to bikebandit.com, and look for it...mine was about $33. just got it running great yesterday....a nice tan colored plug. also, before you do a plug check...make sure the thing is warmed up. im running ngk br8es-l. they seem to be working really well. i wouldnt put champion plugs in it...or anything else for that matter. apparently the needle wearing out is a common problem with this carb...its an easy fix. good luck with it.

Yes, you can buy kits for those carbs. Dennis Kirk carries them. The Moose brand runs around 14 bucks.
