Pull cord snaped

Default Pull cord snaped

the pull chord on my trike broke

um this is the second time could something be rubing on it

i was thinking about buying a complete new rip cord with the housing atached is this possible any where

is it the same rope that has been on the since day one or did some on replace it is probley just old because my friends rope snaps all the time so he bought ne rope and put it in and it worked just fine

buy a new rope. compare the new to the old, theres a big difference i redid mine like 2 days ago.

1/4" braided rope works real nice. Strong too!

at the dealer by my place they had this cord that has metal braided in it like on the outside. i put it on mine and i havent noticed any ware.

the rope on my trike snapped but i had an extra pull start off another engine of mine but just take apart the one that snapped and get new rope....works fine after[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Hmm..obviously it would work fine after you put a new one in becuase its new

It could snap anywhere...probally near the start of it tho, try and get a tougher rope, like 125 lb test, it shouldnt break then, also look for any edges in the hole on the starter, if there is, take a round file and smoooth it out, good luck with that
