Pull cord snaped
#11
my rope looked fine, but up inside that rubber boot where it always sits when your riding, it just rubbed on the slide and thats where it broke. i probably could have jsut shortend my old rope, but i dont like to fix things that way. so i just got a new rope. the hardest part has to be pushing the rope throught that little hole in the handle. the best way to tighten the spring is to buy a few extra feet of rope and fill that pulley as full as you can get it, then jsut pull it out untill it goes around 8 full turns, clamp the rope with some vice grips, and you have plenty of slack to work with too. when i cut the rope i melted it alittle, then cut it after it hardend with some side cutters, works good.. well, i dont know if this is any help to you, i'm just bored out of my mind at work so i type.
