at high rpm's.

Plugs gapped at .020.

Any info or thoughts what might be causing this?

Hey

I tuned up my friend's 85 200X and it too was sputtering at high RPM's. Took the carb off (it was quite dirty with varnish) cleaned it and ran very good after that. Just my opinion...

yeah, definately look into cleaning the carb, remove the jets, soak the carb in carb cleaner or something similar...then blow out each oriface with compressed air...should clean things up a bit, also blow the jets out too

I bought a carb kit... and it turned out one the jets was making it run too rich in fuel, so I switced the jet and it ran perfect. Thanks for all the help to everyone who responded!!!
