How do i tighten my 250r chain it's way to loose. How tight do I put it?

 

what year?? if its an 85'-86', loosen the two allen wrench bolts (6mm?) then on the left side of the carrier you want to put the allen wrench in and pull it down, give your chain about 1/2"-1" of slack, then tighten the two allen bolts.
