Default 250r takeoff

Hey guys, what is the best way to take off in a drag race on a 250r trike? No matter what I do, I feel like the bike is going to flip because of the light front end. It's an 84 with an FMF slip on, uni filter w/ no air lid, jet kit, and (any day now, on order) a DG pipe. I just put on some razr 20-11-9's for more grip and stability. I love this trike as much as my 87 R, so much fun to ride. A friend has an 04 EX that wants to race, so any tips would be cool. Thanks

You could drop the triples down the tubes to lower the front.
Gotta love them air-cooled R's. Good luck and let us know how the race goes.......................

crowd the tank and much as possible and lean far foward as possible. keep the rpm's close to if not just in the powerband and use the clutch to control wheel speed. clutch control is key.

Have you tried taking off in second?? I know when i race my Raptor I always do that to keep the front end from going skyward.
