3 wheelers and service at dealerships
I have tried to have my 82 250r worked on at several dealerships in Colorado and all of them told me they don't work on 3 three wheelers? Not that the bike is to old and they can't get parts for it, they specifically stated "they don't work on 3 wheelers". Its kind of funny those hippocrits didn't mind selling them as fast as they could, now it sounds like it is politically incorrect to even have them in their service areas? has anyone noticied this? I mad as hell and I am not going to take this-right

You live in Boulder, I'm suprized they still allow you to own a "off-road" anything. {I used to live in Loveland} That is pretty stupid they will not work on your trike. I work on all my own stuff so I'm not sure if they are doing that here in Missouri too.

at my friends shop, when I am there with my trike, I get tons of dumb questions,"aren't those things banned/illegal/dangerous" You gotta be pretty stupid to bring your bike to the delaer, I almost will gaurnantee that most shops/dealers won't test ride the trikes(if so needed). Its suppiblly somekind of liabilty to have trikes around, even though they can sel used trikes, they don't for the same reason. Thats not the first time I heard that, I'm not suprised.

Yea, yea, yea. If you're gonna own a two decade old trike you better be able to fix it yourself. Who in their right mind would pay dealer prices for service on an old wagon like a trike anyhow? It's simply not worth paying top cash to fix an old fairly inexpensive machine. Get some cheaper private shop to do the work. Maybe learn to do it yourself. Then you'll understand how you're probably beating the hell out of it. Who cares if they don't ride it. If they're not comfortable riding it it's probably because they feel unsafe on it. Good. They'll probably crash it any way and do more damage to it anyhow. Simply put, if you've got old crap, expect to find a good private shop
