Who likes which tires?

Need to put 2 new rear tires on a stock 1984 200s. Live in minnesota, ride mostly hardpack, some mud, some snow. Not much sand riding. What tires are people riding? Like 'em? Hate 'em? Tell me about it.

Maxxis Razr's are a nice all around tire, esp for hard pack, loose dirt, gravel. I had Blackwaters and they are good for snow and mud but suck on hard pack. I never took my trike in the mud so they had to go for the Razr's.

You really need something Baloon-ey for the mud/water/snow. Problem is they really suck for Dirt like trails, anything where you need to be able to break it loose at any time. 18's totally change the way your 3-wheeler feels!!! And definitely for the better!!! I right now have carlyle turf tamer 18x11-8 that I use on the 185, 200S and 20x11-9 on my 200X (the latter because it's what came with the Trike)
It's important to be able to break it loose. You always have more than enough traction on a three wheeler. Look at pix of old racers and they all had smoother profiles. Look into something like that.

Go Bear Claws, all the way. Just got a set on two days ago, works like a champ. I used to have "Dirt Dawgs" which look like a Stryker, and didnt much like them, but again, it could vary per bike and riding condition.
