Default 86 350X Tires

I have a 86 350x. It has been sitting for years and the tires are shot. What sizes do most use to replace with for everyday riding. Pretty much just a good all round tire front and rear. Thanks.

I know the front size is 23.5x8-11, and the rear is 22.0x10-9

Yeah, I have the stock tire sizes. I was just asking what most people up grade to as far as diffirent sizes or brands. Kind of limited on brands for the front 11" wheel.

I think i can help you here. For the rear tires I suggest a low-profile tire like the ITP Holeshots or Turf Tamers. Its up to you on what kind of tread you are looking for in a tire but the low-profile tires greatly improve handleing over the stock balloon tires. On tire height it depends on what kind of terrain you ride on, if you mainly ride on flat ground you might want to think about 18" tires. They have a lot better handleing in my opinion over the 20" tires and also more tourque. If you ride on more rough and rockier terrain you should go with the 20" tires, not far behind in handleing from the 18" tires but you gain 2" more ground clearance (a must for the type of trails i ride). As far as the front tire goes I hear you can buy a stock 250r tire which is identical to a 350x front tire just .5" shorter. If you don't like the stock tread i can only think of two different companies that make a tire in that size (there might be more), Kenda and Cheng Shin. Hope this helps. Later.
