Well my stock bore R with a very mild port, and all the bolt on goodies IS faster than every 686 raptor I have raced. Give me a stock R and let me tune it and it WILL beat a raptor with a pipe... garenteed.

by the way CTracingraptor you said your friends R's head was ported to the max. That kinda well,, impossible sence you port the cylinder on a 2-stroke not head.

 

hey listen here, i dont know much about 2 strokes ill give you that, my friend told me " he had it ported to the max" i was under the assumption it was the head. im so sorry! anyone here going to four stroke wars, and want to race my friend with his r, we'll be their. my freind with his "ported cylinder" says that the only raptor taht every beat him was a 770 and it was by 3 length on the hill, i can beat him right now by 3 lengths,a nd when i just had my exhaust i could beat him by 1 length, his r get the holeshot on me everytime, but the longer swimgarm is on order, and ill have no problem getting the holeshot on him, the only way your going to beat an r is if your rappy has enough power to grap gears goign up the hill, if your going to ride 2nd gear out all the way to the top youll never win, change your sporckets.

 

i might be there for a little on sunday morning assuming our sunday morning ride stops by there. ill be camping at pad 1 gecko. im willing to race at either comp or olds on friday evening if you want to meet up.

 

i'll be arriving around 8pm so i dotn know how long it will take to get the camp set up? but ill be their for 4sw im the starting line coordiator

 

ahh, im working that weekend too. im helping out the annual clean up efforts and will be at comp all saturday in a truck helping transport bags of trash to the dumpster and handing out bags and stuff. no bike.

im still game for late friday night comp. not that far of a ride if you guys are camping at gecko. we can just buzz down the highway and be there in 15 minutes. ill be at pad 1 and will give you my cell number if you're interested in some friendly racing.
