200x valves

Default 200x valves

ok i adjusted my valves to spec and also my cam chain when the tike gets warm it still ticks guite loud im thinking the rockers are shot and need to be replaced in the meantime is it bad to ride it like this??

I had the same issue with mine for a year and a half (just sold it), never had a prob, and i met a person with a Honda 200 4-stroke dirtbike than made the same exact noise, and he had never been in his engine, don't know if it is a 200 honda thing or what?????

my 250 big red dose the same thing . i dont no what it is i was thinking just get a louder pipe and dont worry about lol

a already tried that got a dg exhaust and can still hear it lol

Mine does the same thing. I think these older engines are just a bit louder than the new ones. It's not a ticking noise, but it does make a noise from the head area. Mine has done that since I bought the trike back in June and I've had no problems whatsoever. If the valves are in spec, all should be A-OK.

the 200x i had before did the same thing couldnt get rid of it, they told me not to tighten too much or wear the cam or rockers, but it had a supertrapp and its true you couldnt hear it lol.
