200x bolt on mods?

Default 200x bolt on mods?

hey i have a 84 200x so far i bored it out 20 over put on a dg exhaust and head pipe and turf tamers i was wondering what else i can do thats not to expensive i like the low and midrange just lookin for a little more top end { trying to beat my friends 230 quadsport} thanks paul

Default 200x bolt on mods?

LOL, sorry I have to ask you. WHAT IS GOING ON?????? I had a 84 200x, and built my wife a 86 LT230s. My 200x smoked the hell out of my LT (bottom end, mid, and top end!). Has you friend put any major mods on the 230? What sprocket sizes and what are your rear tire sizes? After the aftermarket exhaust did you re-jet? Let me know, You should have no problym taking that 230.

no i didnt rejet what sized jet should i use and the tires are 18 inch and the gears arestock

I see your problem .. running 18's with stock gearing.. of course that is gonna kill your topend .. You need to try some 13/36 gearing or so. that will get you back up there.

also rejet... do a plug chop and see if/how much to lean you are running.
