i just cleaned the air fliter got a br8es spark plug and running it rite about 35, 40 to 1. Its still smoking and not sounding like it should plus its not really hitting powerband in the lower gears . can this be cuased by it getting to much gas. i got a jett kit with mian # 142, polite #52.

 

check you tranny fluid make sure your not sucking it through a crank seal??

it would be smoking alot. if its burning tran's oil, it will be down. i dought that is it but check it out

 

Hey i was in the same shape just a coule weeks ago. If your foulin them and it looks like its a fuel fouled plug. pull ur carb out and reset the floats lower. I had mine set by the book it was doin that so i had my dad pull it out and set them alil lower. i havnt fouled a plug yet and i tired to. Im also runing a #5 plug and we are mixin it round 40:1 mix.
