What plug are you running? What gas mis ratio? Don't overlook a dirty air filter.

It could be weak spark... Try gaping the plugs at 0.020.... and dont forget 2-strokes are throttle happy

i run 40:1 on my r and it doesnt foul plugs, i dont know if too much oil will cause it to foul but i do know that a dirty air filter will and i know from experience that too much oil causes your airfilter to get dirty realy fast cause the dirt just stick real easy.

br9es is too cold a plug. Switch to an 8. 32:1 should be fine but I run mine a tad leaner as well. A dirty air filter will also reduce plug life.

also dont lug the bike. that'll kill spark plugs on a 2 stroke as well.

i think thats what dragracer was trying to say.

you should run 40:1 with a decent oil. 32:1 is ok but if your lugging around it will foul plugs. remember more oil in your gas is not richer it is accully leaner (air to fuel ratio).

i ran my bike 80:1 with redline 2 stroke oil

I use a br9es and run my fuel @ about 35:1.

I had similar symptoms a few years back.

Bought a new air filter and it cured right up.

The foam on the filter was coming apart and getting sucked into the chamber. I noticed burnt sooty crap all over the plug.

It was kinda old - a circa 1985 K+N...

I hope that fixes your problem.

I doubt its ignition. On 250r's - they either work or they dont.

On the oil bit - I use some left over Golden Spectro from 1990.. It works.
