Default Ignition trouble on 250R, NEED HELP!!!!

Im having trouble with the ignition on my 83 250R. Im not getting any spark. It gets about 3 volts to the coil when kicked over. And im gettting no power to the cdi box. The only wire coming from the stator that has power is the yellow one. I have no idea what to do. I dont knowif the stator is the problem orthe cdi is the problem. The wiring harness is not cut.

Did you ohm check the coils of the stator? This will let you know if the stator is good or not. I dont have the specs, but on average 100 to 300 ohms sounds reasonable.

I dont have a service manual for that quad. Maybe someone else can post the specs and the wires. You basicly disconnect the electrical connector coming from the stator, and using an ohmeter, check the resistance of the internal wiring.
