i have been debating for the last mounth on what to out in my 200x. i decieded i wanted to keep it to a 200x but i want a 1986 engine in there cuz i want the 6 speed. will this fit in the frame easy. or will i have to put in all new motor mounts or will it even work? i need to know quickly cuz the the motor has lesss than 2 days left onm auctions

 

it is possible im sure, but anythings possible with a torch and a welder. I wouldnt try this modification if i were you. Best bet would be to sell yours, throw a little extra cash in and just get and 86-87 model. I like my 86 better than almost any other ATC anyway. Its way better feeling than the 83-85 models.

 

Get a lower end from an XR200...that'll give you 6 speeds. Just don't get the 85-85 dual carbed engine, that's totally different from the other XR engines.
