What is an over all better machine i know the tecates faster but i want to know whats better for less maintance and better handeling

 

I have owned all three trikes 85 Honda 250R, 85 tecate 250R,and tri-Z 250R

They only thing that made the Honda and Kawa "faster" than the Tri-Z was they had a 6th gear. But to me the tri-Z accelerates a tad faster than the other two. It was my favorite trike of the three cause it NEVER gave me any troubles,and it had alot of neet features that the other two did'nt have.

PS. if my memory serves me correctly, you can not bore the Tecate's cylinder, you have to re-sleeve the cylinder on every rebiuld.

Thanks man i think ill get a tri z soon when i can get some $...i was wondering how many hrs should it get per tank of gas

 

I used to ride for about 3 hours on a tank of gas, but I was riding really hard all the time. so if your trial riding I would guess you could go 4 hours.

Would you know how many galon tank it is?

 

could be that the triZ had lower gearing that allowed it to accelerate faster.. you can do that with any of bike..
it would be interesting to see the rod/stroke ratio of all three bikes.. would kinda give you an idea which one made more torque.. then stock pipes come into play.... too many variables... lol
