i got a 83 185s and i had it sitting up bout 2 to 3 months broke and i replaced the stator coil and cranked it and it ran but when i rode it,it
keep reving it's self up and would go down.would it be the throtle is burnt up,jet problems,or the throtle needle? i dont think its the jets because they r very clean and look almost new.

 

Check for an air leak in the intake, between carb and intake boot and between intake boot and cylinder.

 

i looked theres no air leak...

 

hi if you maybe ajust the needle valve it will run smooth because it is not getting anough gas so it surges
