How serious do you want to get??
Your 185 will never out handle a 200X.
But your 185 can easily be made to outperform a 200X in terms of acceleration and speed. I take it that this is your intention and is what I will base this post on.
These engines, stock for stock, only differ by just under two horsepower.
The issue here is building more power and removing weight from the 185.
Remove the weight first and then get into the engine mods.
I have shaved over 50 pounds from one these before.
The difference is more noticable than anything that you could do to that engine while using that same chassis....and much cheaper to.
