If nothing got fried ,reconnect the wires. I know for sure that polaris trailblazers and my 400ex will run with the ignition switch disconnected. The 400ex has to be push started. Just unplug the switch. I bet yours is the same way. Most ignition switches just ground the coil out so when the switch is off it is grounded. With switch unhooked the coil isnt grounded and should run. I am not familar with the 200es but if it has electric start the starter wont work. Also I am not sure if the charging system would work. If it is non electric it will run forever like that. If it is just check the charging and if it isnt make sure the battery dont go dead out in the middle of nowhere cuz you will lose spark. I had to do that when my now ex wife took my key for the 400ex. I didnt ride it long but had no problems once I got it push started.

The 400ex was right behind the switch. It was a pain to get to without removing anything but it I did get it. It might connect at the switch or might have a liittle pig tail. Someone with knowledge of the 200es will have to help further. Good luck.
