I have actually heard of the 85 ATC250R carb used on the 350X with good results. It is a 34mm PE Keihin. Of course the jetting will probably have to be adjusted. This was done to a modified 350X so am not sure how it would do on a stock one. Nice trike by the way. Used to own an 85.

I have two 350X motors that I use in my quad and on the mild motor I run exactly what Keenan had mentioned, a 34mm PE Keihn carb and it runs great. The main jet is a 165, the motor has a TC pipe, 10.5:1 piston and a mild cam.

Yeah it'll work if u can manage to get the manifold to bolt up, most 2strokes have different manifolds from 4strokes, also sum have oil injector ports, which will have to be blocked off cause they will affect air/fuel

I've got a 350X motor in my TRX 250X chasis and am in the process of rebuilding my 86 ATC 350X (forks from an 85 and two motors 85/86). I'm looking for some direction on who or where to go to get more power from the motor/ I have to rebuild the top end cause the one had a broken valve and it rattled around the cylinder a bit as it died.... Any help would be great..... Thanks ahead of time
