85 Big red with an 86 muffler????

Default 85 Big red with an 86 muffler????
My pop has a 1985 Big red 250 ES and was wondering if he could put a 1986 250 SX muffler on it. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

Not sure if it's a different part number but I suggest just trying it. If you can get it on there, it will work fine.
