the rear axle bearings are in there. Suppurt the swingarm on a jack stand or on a brick ect.....and see if you can move the axle up and down. If you can. Replace the bearings RIGHT AWAY!!!!! The longer you let it go, the more damage they will do!

thrash it does move up and down i have not ridden it with it like this the trike did this when i got it and i just chose to fix the motor end first. i have gotten into the brakes at this point but there is some sort of bearing or hub or something that will not come loose is holding the inside of the break housing. does this screw off or do i need a hub puller. i got the manual but cant figured this piece out. once again thanks for your help

I'm a little confused on the part that is holding you up...............You should brake the two holding nuts loose on the right side of the axle ( I do this first because you need to have someone hold the rear brake while you break the nuts loose) pull both wheels off.......take the chain off........take the rear brake caliper off.......pull the right hub off......take the 2 nuts off the axle......take the rotor and hub off the right side of the axle (the hub just slides off the axle, BUT you may need to use a board and a large hammer to "beat" the axle out the left side of the bike because the rotor hub will rust to the axle) When you put this all back together use anti-seize on the rotor hub splines.
