Yes and Yes. You can put tubes in them, but they tend to spin inside the tire if you don't run alot of pressure in them. I know I don't like my tires with that much pressure.

Default tubes in tires???

Hola! Thought to bring this message up again. 82 Honda 185S has split rims, rubber ring long gone, tried tubes with metal stem, still blew tube. Dont like high air pressure also. Got stuck out in middle nowhere, silicone heck out of rims and crawled back to campo. My thought to try silicone (or something) between split rims to seal? Scrounged old solid rim 4bolt pattern, but need at least one more. Many big brain ideas on this forum, so want to join to ask question. Am I wasting time with split rims? Gracias!

Default tubes in tires???

hello. well i bought some tubes for my tires awhile ago with metal stems. it was a bitch tryng to get the bead broke on the tires so i finally took it to a friend. i got the tubes in and put the right amount of pressure in them and they havent blew yet so i dont know. ive never dealed with split rims so im not sure what kind of tube will work? I think you might need the rubber seal to protect the tube. were is the tube popping?, near the stem? or is the tube popping somewhere else
