What is the best sport 3 wheeler for me?
Now that I am selling my 400ex I am looking into another dirtbike or three wheeler.I think I want a three wheeler mostly because the cool factor is definitly there and you can still do some things like fourwheelers do good like donuts and not have to worry about falling off as much at high speeds.I know its going to be hard to find the one I want since I have narrowed my choices down to a 1985-1986 250R,1984-1987 Tecate or a 1985-1986 Tri-Z but I really want one of these bad.I really would like a 6 speed but availability of aftermarket and replacement parts I want to take into consideration too.Any pointers or suggestions for a three wheeler would be great.By the way im not worried I wont be able to handle one of them since I had a KX250 and loved it and she ripped but I am really starting to like 3 wheelers more than 4 wheelers or dirtbikes.Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

They were solid from day one and you have a better chance of at least getting engine parts due to their relationship with the TRX250.

It's not even close!!! The Honda 250R was the ultimate 3 wheeler ever created. Tecate may be a little quicker up top and Tri-Z a little quicker on bottom (maybe). But the R has by far the best powerband. We won't even talk about handling that's a no brainer for the R all the way!!!. Parts are also much easier to get. Go R and have fun.

tri z is the most comphy and better in the woods! Ive had all the others but the z feels better for me because im tall and yes the 250r parts are endless but dont let that be your deciding factor i have no problem getting parts for mine! the 85 is a five speed and the 86 is a six speed but the gearing is different so there about the same.
