11o electrical problem

Default 11o electrical problem

im trying to find out a problem with my honda 110.im not getting any fire.i have a multimeter but im a carpenter not an electrician.could anyone tell me how to go about checking some of the eletrcal components with it.its an 82 honda 110 cdi.engine has great compression. just cant get any fire.any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to find a manual and ohm out the wires the manual will prob tell you how to do it pretty easy.

To ohm out the wires you set the meter to the ohm setting. The ohm is the upside down horse shoe looking setting. Then just test all your components. You touch one end to one wire for both wires.

Default 11o electrical problem

have u tried taking the cdi cover off and cleaning the points inside i just sprayed it off w/ brake cleaner and touched em up w/ sandpaper
an emery board (old school finger nail file) works great too
