i was just wondering if the red on my plastics was paint or the color of the plastics. because the previous owner spray painted it black and it rubbs off from my legs rubbing on th plastics. i was thinking of stripping it back to red but didnt know if it would take the red off. (using paint stripper)

You can get spray paint that is just for plastic if you wanted to repaint them. He prob just used some crappy black paint that peels right off. The best thing to do is sand them down with a fine grit sand paper then spray them.

It might be easier to just buy new plastics at Bike Bandit or Hyperparts. Everyone I know including myself who have tried painting plastics have had so-so results. They all seem to peel in a short amount of time. Especially if you spill any petro product on it. Just my .02

lol bikebandit does not offer fenders for the 110. Hyper parts does and they are pretty reasonable. BUT if you look on Ebay there is a set on there right now going for 10 bucks with one day left.

try to take a pressure washer or a high forcefull garden hose nozzle and spray the plastic down, if it will come off with the rub of your leg, it should come off with high pressures of water, an dit souldnt hurt the OEM color.
