i am having problems with the clutch slipping when in 2nd gear and up when i give it 1/4 throttle. i put a new centrifigul clutch on it last year, does that mean it is allready wore out or is the other clutch plates wore out.

 

Is it only slipping in second gear and no other gear???

were the plates goin bad when you changed the clutches? Are you sure you put the clutches on correctly? I would pull it back apart and check it out to see if anything looks wrong...

 

i have the same problem as yours on my 200m and i think its is the friction disks on the manual clutch.

 

when i changed the centrifigul clutch i did not check the clutch plates, im sure they need changing. (22 years old) every thing has worked good until lately.

 

what about synthetic blend oil, good or bad.

 

I hear they are bad for them... I think it makes the clutches go bad faster. There was another thread on here where they taked about what type to use...
