Well, I don't know about the new water pumpers being that much faster (I'll take your word for it), I do know this thing flat out screams. It's really more trike than I want, I can see where this would be a complete thrill in the dunes....unfortunately we have none around the midwest.

I have owned faster Quads than my 84 250r but nothing seemed as fast as it.I had a 87 t-4 me and my buddy would take turns riding it and the 250r and the t-4 would win every time no mater who was riding,But the 250r was sooo mutch fun to run hard.Yes a little scary but it lets you know your still alive!!

I had an 84 250R and I could beat an 85/86 250R, but it had a 300 kit on it!

my 86 350X was a beast even stock with hoged out muffler it wasnt a pavement screamer(u know going to another pit)compared to banshees and stuff but it was pretty fast there also the ultimate wheelie machine they are ballanced perfect just ply with the throttle, but it was way better than my buddys 250R in the trails just crack the throttle and roost around corners and it was as fast in the pits...so it was the best of both worlds but a 250R could be hoped up alot cheaper though u'll love it the biggest mill ever in a production ATC

there only have more power potential because liquid mills keep a more even temp vrs air which fluctuate more and when a motor gets hot power drops off in cold weather not really an issue and the newer the machine the porting gets better not alot but some but im sure it flys dont get me wrong u wont have coolant problems!

I'm right at 2 grand and I still have the "purdy stuff" to buy. No big deal. If we did like our stuff how it was, we would have to go elsewhere for a "fix".

well I've got nine trikes all of them in various states of repair, the last three I built from the ground up, the last one I quit adding at 2500. the point is three wheelers are my hobby, I love my hobby so how do you draw a line on something you love thats not worth much any how
