Realize this isn`t a three wheeler, but not a whole lot of these were made and it has a very strange problem. It`s a 86 TRX 350 4X4. We`ve replaced the stator with a new unit, checked it and it`s good, and a new CDI. we place the spark tester on it and no spark, we removed the coil and put it on another atc and it fired up and ran fine. The problem is, it`s getting fire all the way to the coil, but no fire past the coil. We`ve checked the grounds, the wiring, everything. As Long as I`ve played with cars, I`ve never seen a car do this, or a lawn mower or atc for that matter. This one has us all stumped. Any help is appreciated.

 

check you plug cap, had the same issue on a 91 LT250

 

86 350s are unique 87/92 are same but 86s fire by a trigger coil in alternator there the only year that way
