I have a 1983 Honda 185s. I recieved it from my father-in-law. He told me it had sat for a few years. I tried cleaning the carb. Did not run. Bought a carb kit. Now it runs well. But the carb leaks Oil. What does this mean?? It also burns up plugs. I have to change plug 1 every 3 times I ride. Just wondering if I might need a rebuild. Thanks.

 

mine was like that too after sitting in the barn for 10 yrs. when i got it out and got it runnin it smoked like a freight train and fouled plugs. i dumped some sea foam in mine and that got the rings unstuck and it dont smoke at all anymore.
