will a cdi 110 head fit an early 110 non cdi?

Default will a cdi 110 head fit an early 110 non cdi?

my early non cdi smokes but has good power.I am not sure what the cause is but I have a later cdi motor . Will the head work from it?

I just use my old point setup in the newer cdi head,right?

It will change but you may run into an issue with the cam length on the CDI cam
I have run into issue when changing to an aftermarket Perf cam
I know the internal part of the cam is direct fit but where the advance mecanism fits
The older points cam is shorter
Not a problem if that is the case use the cam with the points ignition
