87 250r crank in a 85 atc R
#1
I have a ? I have a 85 310r short rod motor my crank bearings just seized up so I picked up a 87 crank and rod assembly. I want to put this in I heard that if I use a 87-88 piston I dont need a spacer plate is this true? Or do I need spacer plate or what yr. piston? Also will it mess with my port timing. I have 310 ESR cylinder with trx 11 port job. I wanted to go with a stroker crank but everyone is telling me my top end wont work because of my port timing due to the drag porting.....
Thanks
